Are There Current Issues With EUR Virtual Bank Account Deposits?

Overview

If you are trying to create or use a EUR Virtual Bank Account (VBA) on Copperx and are experiencing issues, this article explains what is currently happening and what you should do.

Current Status

EUR Virtual Bank Accounts (VBAs) are currently offline. This means new EUR VBAs cannot be created at this time, and deposits via existing EUR VBAs may not be processed until the service is restored.

This does not affect your account or any funds already held in your Copperx wallet.

What You Should Do

  • Do not attempt to create a new EUR VBA until the service is back online β€” the feature is temporarily unavailable and attempts will not succeed.

  • Do not initiate new EUR bank deposits during this period. Sending funds to a EUR VBA while the service is offline could result in delays or require manual intervention to recover the funds.

  • If you have already sent a deposit to your EUR VBA and it has not reflected, please email [email protected] with:

    • Your registered email address

    • The amount and date of the deposit

    • The transaction reference or confirmation number from your bank

    • A screenshot of the transaction if available

Why Is This Happening?

The EUR VBA service is currently offline due to a temporary issue with our European banking infrastructure. This may be caused by:

  • Partner bank system updates interrupting inbound EUR payment flows

  • Compliance holds triggered at the correspondent banking partner level

  • Scheduled or emergency maintenance on the EUR VBA issuance system

This is a temporary situation and does not indicate any permanent issue with your account or funds.

When Will It Be Resolved?

Our team is actively working to restore the EUR VBA service. Once it is back online, you will be able to create new EUR VBAs and resume deposits as normal. Any deposits already in transit will be processed once the service is restored.
