How Long Do Transactions Take on Copperx?

Overview

This article explains the usual ETA (expected time to complete) for different types of transactions on Copperx — including bank withdrawals (off‑ramp), virtual bank account deposits (VBA onramp), and wallet‑to‑wallet transfers. It also covers how long it typically takes if a transaction is reversed back to your source account.

Bank Withdrawals (Crypto to Bank – Off‑Ramp)

If you are withdrawing funds from your Copperx wallet to your personal or vendor bank account:

  • Expected processing time: 2–3 business days
This applies to withdrawals in supported payout currencies and corridors (for example, USD withdrawals for USA users and other supported bank routes).

If your withdrawal has not arrived after 3 full business days, contact [email protected] with:

  • Your registered email address

  • The withdrawal amount, currency, and date

  • The Copperx withdrawal reference or transaction ID.

Virtual Bank Account Deposits (ACH/Wire deposit)

If you are depositing funds via a virtual bank account (VBA):

  • Expected processing time: up to 3 business days
Funds sent to your virtual bank account typically take up to 3 business days to be received by our partners, processed, and reflected in your Copperx wallet, depending on your bank and payment corridor.

If your deposit has not reflected after 3 full business days, contact [email protected] with your:

  • Bank transfer reference

  • Amount, currency, and date

  • Screenshot or PDF of the payment confirmation.

If virtual bank accounts are currently paused, do not send new deposits; refer to the dedicated VBA status article for details.

Wallet‑to‑Wallet Transfers

If you are transferring funds from Copperx wallet to your personal wallet

  • Expected processing time: near‑instant — usually within 5–10 minutes
These transfers are processed on‑chain or within the Copperx system and usually show up almost immediately. In rare cases, network congestion or internal checks can cause a short delay, but it should normally resolve within about 10 minutes.

If a wallet‑to‑wallet transfer remains pending for longer than 30 minutes, contact [email protected] with the transaction hash or internal reference.

Returned VBA Deposits (Money Sent Back to Source)

In practice, reversals or returns back to your originating account mainly affect VBA onramp deposits — for example, when a bank transfer to your virtual bank account cannot be processed by our partners and is sent back.

  • Typical time for a returned VBA deposit: 3–5 business days
Once the return is initiated by the banking system, it usually takes 3 to 5 business days for the funds to appear back in your original bank account.

Refunds or returns on other transaction types (like off‑ramp withdrawals) are rare and handled individually by our support and compliance teams.

If you do not see a returned VBA deposit after 5 full business days, email [email protected] with:

  • Your registered email

  • Amount, currency, and date of the transfer

  • The virtual bank account details you used

  • Your bank reference and proof of payment (screenshot or PDF).
